Global Forum on Remittances, Investment and Development (GFRID) Summit 2023

The GFRID Summit is back for its eighth edition in 2023, hosted in Nairobi, Kenya at the United Nations Office from 14th - 16th June. Co-organized by the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD), the United Nations Secretary General’s Officeof the Special Adviser on Africa (OSAA) and the World Bank, opportunities and challenges in the post-pandemic landscape will be explored, with a major focus on main remittance corridors and diaspora investment innovations in Africa.

Key stakeholders from the public and private sectors, and civil society, engaged in the African and global remittance and diaspora investment ecosystems will gather to network, exchange good practices and create synergies towards joint, innovative initiatives aimed at unleashing the power of remittances and diaspora investment towards sustainable development.
